Break in life line

Filed under: -life, Palm lines — Madame Seaqueen @ 6:24 pm

50-55 years old

Image (c) Tusko. Break in life line. Age 50-55 years

Breaks in Life Line do not always indicate death.

Often we see obvious breaks in the Life Line.  One thing to remember is that it is important to look for connecting lines which extend the Life Line.

In the sketch above which is taken from a real hand belonging to a female, we can see a break.  Generally speaking the area under the thumb in a straight horizontal line to the edge of the palm (pinky side) indicates age 50 or so.

This female will experience a radical change, either in health, re-location, total shifting of consciousness or possibly a near death experience.  The Life Line does continue well into the wrist area.  The image does not show any connecting markings but there are some faint bridge lines from the main Life Line all the way to the small segment of the Life Line near the wrist.

When a person sees special markings in the palm and has not yet reached the age which is indicated (in the broadest terms) it can be helpful to be more aware or prepared.  Unless there is proof in the palm of other experiences in the past which can be ascertained through traditional markings only then can there be a reasonable prediction made.

The lines in the palms change.  However, the main lines usually do not differ greatly. It would be the finer markings which are modified.

I don’t think the broken life line will merge on this palm overnight, :) or even in several years but helper/influence markings will appear (stars, crosses, triangles, etc.)  It’s a good idea to pay close attention or even take a good quality image of the palm so you can then compare in 6 months to see if there are any changes.

Fate line

Filed under: *cross, *influence lines, *islands, -destiny, -head, -heart, -life, Markings, Palm lines — Madame Seaqueen @ 2:21 am

There are some debates whether or not the fate line is actually the saturn line (middle finger) and if the fate line can be called the destiny line.  I think it could be all in the same.

The stronger and clearer this line is the more obvious the direction of life.  I have seen a strong fate line on the palms of a housewife who has never worked outside of the home. She is fulfilling her destiny as a domestic engineer.

The absence of the fate/destiny line suggests lack of focus or inability to achieve goals but this should not be the final verdict as other factors can strengthen this like a strong thumb or longer index finger.

GUIDELINES

INSIDE  or ON THE LIFE LINE

The fate line starting inside or on the life line suggest some difficulty establishing a career direction in younger years. There will be challenges/pressure coming from the parent’s expectations. This person can be torn between duty towards the family and one’s independence to do what they really want to.  Often they are lured into a family business.

CENTER OF WRIST

When the fate line begins at the lower center of the wrist the person will have the independence needed to set off in a career at a younger age.  There is little family interference.

MOUNT OF LUNA (meaty part near the thumb)

Should  the fate line start from the left side (left hand) or right side (right hand) of the 3rd phalange (mount of venus) of the thumb this indicates career direction is influenced by friends/mentors/study.  Several career options can be experienced before a steady one manifests.

Where the fate line ENDS is significant

BEFORE THE HEAD LINE - often this suggest a great error in judgment concerning career and it is usually under the age of 30-35.  Look to markings on the life line and heart line to support this abrupt halt in career direction.

BETWEEN HEAD AND HEART LINE- the greatest accomplishment will be mid 30’s to 40 depending on the space between the head and heart lines.  This means success does come and unless there are helper lines protruding from the fate line in an upward direction the individual will not expand any further in career.

ENDING AT HEART LINE- usually this spot is early 40’s.  Often there is an emotional problem or involvement which prevents further success.  For example: like having an affair with the boss’s daughter and getting caught.  This might be a dramatic example but it happens.  It can even mean a melt down and these days this is very common with the stress that goes along with having  successful career.

ENDING AFTER HEART LINE- a great sign for a long career heading well into retirement.  If the fate line continues and ends somewhere between the index and middle finger the person becomes well known in this career.  There is a promise of an art related business.

ENDING in JUPITER (index finger) MOUNT- the person could hold a public position of leadership.  A leader or authority in his or her chosen field.

more on the FATE LINE

ISLANDS-  suggests difficult times at those ages. More energy is needed during this time.  More hard work.  Islands at the end of the fate line most of the retirement money is squandered.  This can be changed as we all have free will.

BRANCHES-  common consensus among palmists, upward lines are achievements and downward lines are failures. Such is the spice of life.  Who said success is without disappointments.

BROKEN FATE LINE- definitely a change of career quite common these days. If there are no helper (overlapping)lines the end is irrevocable.  If there are helper lines then the transition will come if the fate line continues.

TWO or THREE FATE LINES- suggests a regular job + a side line which could be a money making hobby. Sometimes it is volunteer work.

X’s – usually this is interference of one kind or another, a pause, a delay, a problem.  If you see this in your right palm and you are right handed then you can prepare yourself especially if you are not yet the age which is signified by this marking on a certain spot in the line.

There are many other markings.  I have only written about a few.  Palmistry sounds like it is really easy and it can be if you do it just for fun.  However, if you have a client needing advice or guidance more extensive study is necessary like the hand/finger shapes, the length of fingers, the phalanges (segments),knuckles, texture, color, the finger prints and the thumb, of course.

learning Palmistry

Filed under: .Thinking out loud — Madame Seaqueen @ 3:20 am

When a person is trying to learn Palmistry by reading various books on the market or from some of the traditional teachings found from hundreds of years ago, it can become mind boggling.   Where does one start?

I would suggest beginning a database with images of hand/palm prints from real people so that you can study what is written about lines, hand shapes, fingerprints etc.  You could join a forum to learn more but be aware that those analyzing the prints are looking at a flat picture which may not show all the lines clearly. I have found in my experience some of the answers to be textbook descriptions which are ok and serve as a beginning point.

I do believe that the psychic faculties can get triggered when you actually hold the person’s hand while doing the analysis.  I have never been one for sticking to book meanings. They do have their place and I am not knocking them. I feel the same way about reading cards.  In my other blog about cards I write about traditional meanings but also add different perception to get people thinking.

Don’t be afraid of your own gut feelings!  Even if a line on the palm tends to mean one certain thing, you could get a flash of something else.  Maybe a vision.  Not all people will have these but if you allow yourself to flow with what you learn and what you see in an image you can definitely add information which is not found in books.

I think the art of interpretation has great value.

The first step would be to look at the HAND SHAPE  and determine which group it belongs to.  Then move on to each FINGER.  Look at the length, thickness and what does it represent.  Each finger is ruled by a PLANET.  That particular planet has characteristics which may be a little different than reading an astrological chart.

When you have done this and have a handle on the information look to see how the FINGERS compare to each other. Go to the THUMB next.  By this time you will have a really good start with your report even before you factor the lines in the palm.  A lot of what you learn is about personality/characteristics.  To predict events you need to really understand the mechanics of Palmistry.

Understanding the FINGERS is very important because once you understand them, the lines and mounts of each finger will become a little clearer.  I don’t think it’s a good idea to dive right in to reading lines.  You could if you wanted to but then you will lack information about your summaries.

I recently broke a nail on my middle Saturn finger on my left hand.  I glued it in place and it was ok but I decided today just to rip it off.  This means that I will have issues surrounding my career/job.  I have downsized some responsibilities by removing this half hanging nail.  No point hanging on to responsibilities which are not mine.  I inherited these responsibilities through a task which was handed to me.

I can’t help but use the astrological associations that I have learned and apply them to Palmistry.  But I am finding some variance.  Before I can write more I need to test evaluations of the past.  No point predicting anything of the future (right hand) until I can find the markings in the time line which correspond with what was.

When I write posts about various topics, I like to research what I am writing about and offer some suggestions which help people.  I am not a fan of those who say their system is the only way ….

I have not studied 10,000 palms and probably never will :) and those who have written statistics about hundreds and hundreds hand prints may know more than I do – but do they really?  I don’t claim to be an expert because I don’t believe in such titles.  I do believe someone can be very good at what they do.  It all boils down to practice & feedback.

With self-palmistry you can discover many things about yourself.  If you see an island in your life line at the age of 45 and you are 40 – are you going to worry about that?  Islands are challenges or emotional hardships.  Look for the same marking somewhere else when you were under 40.  What happened?  Anything?  Nothing? How did you cope through that setback?

You are the perfect gauge for these types of markings in your hands. Let’s suppose you actually did experience some loss, then you can prepare yourself for possibly a related loss.  It’s similar to damage control.

I want to present my perception on the topic of Palmistry in a way that offers tips and loose guidelines to those who want to learn about this intriguing method of divination.

Just thinking out loud.

Simian line or not?

Filed under: -Simian, -head, -heart, Palm lines — Madame Seaqueen @ 4:57 pm

I recently joined the International Palmistry Community Forums to get a few more opinions on the image you see below.  A discussion is ensuing whether or not there is a typical Simian line in the palm of this individual (male, late 20’s, left hand).

I have had feedback from 3 professionals who claim the overdeveloped  Heart line (under the edge of fingers) is not a Simian line.  I found many interesting debates on this forum, however, I am not completely satisfied with the observations with this particular query about the Simian line.

Do I push the envelope? Yes, I do.  I respect the opinions I received and think they are based on traditional guidelines.  In Cartomancy, we use guidelines as well.  We have professional card readers which come under the umbrella of being authorities on certain systems.

There are always exceptions to the  rules – borderline conclusions which don’t fit into any category.  Those who think outside the box know this very well.  I will write more on my findings as the information comes to me.

Two leading hand analyst have responded by saying:

At this point it has been observed the heart line is Big Heart based on Pamelah Landers (from Hands on Company website) teachings with a faint short Head line (between heart & life lines).  I respect her insights.

Martijn van Mensvoort from the Hand Research website concurs with Pamelah.  I respect his opinion as well.

I am waiting for other feedback and will post it.

UPDATE:  February 27-

It seems I was not successful in obtaining any further information to some simple questions which required a mere explanation of certain markings on the palm- in particular the Head line seen in the image below.  As I am involved in so many other writing projects I decided to deactivate myself from the forum I mentioned above for a number of reasons.

My main reason is that I want to focus on sharing what I have researched and to provide explanations in a way that help others to understand.  This topic of Palmistry is vast.  Just writing about the basics will take a long time.

I think it would be more fun learning techniques on how to analyze one’s own palm.   When you teach a subject  you don’t just add links and say here look it up yourself.

Could this be a non typical heart Simian line?

This line may not be a typical Simian line but I believe it is an aspect of one.

major emotional attachment

Filed under: *influence lines, -head, -life, -marriage, Palm lines — Madame Seaqueen @ 2:24 am

In the example below we can clearly see an emotional attachment line beginning before the LIFE  line, crossing the HEAD line and ending at the HEART line.  Look at the  3 pointers from the MAJOR EMOTIONAL ATTACHMENT cloud.  Judging by the distance from the JOINED LIFE Line and the length of the LIFE Line,  the age time frame would be earlier twenties.  This line is called an INFLUENCE line.

The palm in the image is taken of the LEFT hand and belongs to a middle aged female.

major relationship indicator

major relationship indicator

The JOINED LIFE line suggests this woman grew up in an environment that did not let her wander to far.  She was also at a disadvantage because she was not able to communicate for several years with her school mates as she did not speak English.

The JOINED LIFE line does not stay joined for a long time and begins to separate when she is in her early teens. The prominent INFLUENCE line (MAJOR EMOTIONAL ATTACHMENT) strongly suggests a marriage because it stops at the HEART line.

This individual possesses a long LIFE line that ends close to the wrist and continues to the side of the hand.  This does not mean she will live to be 100 years old.  You need to factor the shape of  the palm when analyzing the LIFE line.  This palm is oblong – length is longer x wide is more narrow.

If you look closely at the head line you can see many islands.  This suggests emotional trauma.  You would think this would be linked to the HEART line but most of the time our emotional pain is derived from our intellectual responses to situations.

The is another MAJOR EMOTIONAL ATTACHMENT  line is little ways down the LIFE line indicating a second connection either a marriage or close bond.  This line stops at the HEAD line suggesting more of a mental relationship without the chemistry known to happen between very young people.  It would be a more mature relationship.  The age would most likely have been in the mid-late 30’s, possibly early 40’s.

There  are other attachment lines branching off the LIFE line but they could be more platonic in nature.

In the image below we can see 2 strong lines indicating MARRIAGE or a relationship with a strong emotional attachment.  The top AFFECTION line closer to the pinky would be the relationship around the late 30’s – early 40’s.

The AFFECTION line above the beginning of the HEART line is a marriage/connection taking place in the early 20’s.  The right palm must be compared to see if this woman made any other significant changes involving her EMOTIONAL attachments.  The right palm can suggest the future if one continues thinking the same way especially if there is a 3rd AFFECTION/MARRIAGE line.  She can manifest this into her life.

destiny line

Filed under: -destiny, Palm lines — Madame Seaqueen @ 4:46 pm

The Palm image below displays the Destiny + Life lines.

35 year old female

35 year old female

The Destiny line is apparent in this palm image.  Notice the  destiny line from the 1st marker to the 2nd one involves several vertical lines depicting career changes.  The abundance of vertical lines up to the first line (HEAD) suggests various shifts in direction.  Some lines are parallel showing natural talents and skills connected to responsibility- destiny line extends all the way to under the MIDDLE finger (not shown in image).

This female is a victim of external influences.  The image is of the RIGHT hand depicting the now-future trends. Also,  this means these changes are usually not her doing but the results of the organizations she has been involved with.

DESTINY line can be missing.

Many people do not have a clear destiny line.  This does not mean they wander through life aimlessly but it does suggest flexibility of goal/interest directions. Usually they were not primed by their parents to follow a certain career direction.

Check the LEFT palm to see if the DESTINY line is shown.  Is it solid?  Does it stem from the LIFE line?  If so, then this means the person chose NOT to follow their family’s direction.  For example, the family may have been farmers or lawyers.  It is important to compare BOTH palms when analyzing lines.

The female in the palm image was not coerced into any particular work/career direction but she was out working from a young age due to financial restraints of her upbringing.

The last part of the DESTINY line extending from the HEART line  which rules the latter years (50+) is more solid. This means she will enjoy the line of work she will be in.

Next post is about the influence lines from the LIFE line
